Clinton Basketball Game Oct. 27, 7PM at Home

The Clinton Golden Bears Men’s Basketball Team will host their last exhibition game on Friday, October 27th in the Martin Gymnasium at Clinton College at 7:00 PM vs. Southern Wesleyan University. The Golden Bears would like to invite all of the local community to support and to see one of Clinton College’s most talented teams in recent history. There is excitement on campus about the successful preseason campaign. The new additions to this year’s team have created a fast paced and above the rim brand of basketball that combines with the already deadly sharp shooting returning cast.

After this preseason game the Golden Bears will face their first game in Region X play away at Richard Bland. Again, we are asking the Rock Hill, SC community to come out and support Rock Hill’s oldest institutions of higher learning and “Rock this Hill!”

Clinton College Basketball Adds JV Team

The Clinton College basketball program has added a JV team in order to allow young players to develop and grow to be a viable option for this year or next year in varsity play. Coach Chris Powers and Coach Barry McManus have been given the opportunity to be Varsity Assistants and have a chance to lead the JV Program. Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Director Larry Mullins feels it is a great way to create exposure and keep valuable students athletes engaged in the program.
